Nina Kümpel, geb. Deckelmann, did her first state examination for infant teaching at Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich/ LMU Munich (subject biology). After her second state examination she worked at two primary schools. Since 2012 she is a research assistant at the Institute for the Didactics of Biology and gives courses for students who want to become an infant teacher.
