by public transport:
metro: U2, U8, station "Hohenzollernplatz"; from there either
- 8 minutes walk
- tram 27 in the direction of Nordbad, stop "Herzogstraße" or
- tram 12, stop "Nordbad" or
- bus 53, stop "Nordbad".
from LMU main building:
Bus 154 starts at stop "Universität" (at the corner of Schellingstraße), get off at stop "Nordbad".
Leave the bus or tram and follow Hohenzollernstraße in westward direction until you turn into Winzererstraße on the right-hand side. Follow Winzererstraße until you find a big, cast-iron gate at your left-hand side. Enter the yard and keep to the right. Now you are in front of the entrance to the department.
